Heart Breaking

Every time I read this passage of scripture, reminded of it or hear it in a sermon my heart breaks just thinking about how Jesus' must have. His would have ten, twenty, fifty, one hundred, one thousand or even more, fold.
 Matthew 27:45-46 (Message)
From noon to three, the whole earth was dark. Around mid-afternoon Jesus groaned out of the depths, crying loudly, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" which means, "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?"

Shows the love of the Father in that Jesus' heart must have been breaking at this time. He could not feel His father's presence. (Jesus had taken on the sins of the world – therefore becoming sin for us. And God could not look on sin.) If Jesus is honoured above even angels, 3-6 After he finished the sacrifice for sins, the Son took his honored place high in the heavens right alongside God, far higher than any angel in rank and rule. Did God ever say to an angel, "You're my Son; today I celebrate you" or "I'm his Father, he's my Son"? When he presents his honored Son to the world, he says, "All angels must worship him." Hebrews 1: 3-6. How many times has the Father's heart been broken through all the sin we commit? Genesis 6:5 God saw that human evil was out of control. People thought evil, imagined evil—evil, evil, evil from morning to night. God was sorry that he had made the human race in the first place; it broke his heart. God forgive us. (Lord break my heart for what breaks yours)

We have tried so many times to 'do it all ourselves' falling short of the perfect purpose for our lives. God has given us Jesus so we can again be redeemed and come back to Him. John 10 : 6-10 Jesus told this simple story, but they had no idea what he was talking about. So he tried again. "I'll be explicit, then. I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn't listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.

How many times has God brought His light into this world and because we thought 'we knew better than God' turned away from it and ended up in sin and darkness again.
Genesis 1 : 3 God spoke: "Light!" and light appeared. God saw that light was good and separated light from dark.

Isaiah 9:2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. For those who lived in a land of deep shadows— light! sunbursts of light!

Romans 1:18-23 But God's angry displeasure erupts as acts of human mistrust and wrongdoing and lying accumulate, as people try to put a shroud over truth. But the basic reality of God is plain enough. Open your eyes and there it is! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can't see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse. What happened was this: People knew God perfectly well, but when they didn't treat him like God, refusing to worship him, they trivialized themselves into silliness and confusion so that there was neither sense nor direction left in their lives. They pretended to know it all, but were illiterate regarding life. They traded the glory of God who holds the whole world in his hands for cheap figurines you can buy at any roadside stand.

God has shown us through His creation and even given us words inspired from Himself to show us how to live holy lives. He has told us that we will not be asked to do anything that is impossible for us. That He will give us every thing we need to do which He asks us to.
Corinthians 10:13 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it.
